The desk FLATMATE was designed by Michael Hilgers and with its size of 0,09 m²  only, it’s probably the smallest fully equipped desk available.

It’s small depth and clear design make it a perfect working space in narrow entry halls, it can be integrated into a living or sleeping room and wherever a temporary working space is needed. FLATMATE converts rooms where conventional furniture can’t be placed into useful space. The desk is equipped with 3 metal boards for ipad, CD’s, or letters. It contains a hidden plug, integrated light (fluorescent tube), 2 compartments for one folder and enough space for a 17” laptop. The desk is connected via a 2 m long fabric cord – plug ‘n work.
