Murano, the small island in the lagoon of Venice/Italy is world famous for its high quality and complex glass art, which is produced there since 1291. Only a few small manufactures however still practice the art of glass bead production. Each single Murano glass bead is formed by hand and some are produced with implants of 999 fine gold. The integrated precious metal lets the Murano glass beads shine and sparkle, and this gloss remains forever.
