ICARUS by Artecnica is a romantic and absolutely stunning light. It’s one of the creations from designer sensation Tord Boontje.

Poetic, lightweight and immaculately white, ICARUS reminds us of the human aspiration to flight: a link between us and the celestial light. Constructed from multiple layers of extruded polyester cut to resemble a bird’s wing, ICARUS casts an unforgettable silhouette. It comes with a cone-shaped plastic safety protector, which prevents the material from coming into contact with the light bulb.
